About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all service arrangements between Duck Duck Day Employment Centre Limited ("the Company", "we", "us") and employers or clients ("Client") who use our services.

By using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact us before signing any contract.

Website Information & Pricing

We strive to keep our website accurate and up to date. However, the following factors may cause the final fees or service scope to differ from what is shown on the website:

• Government fees (including visa fees, Immigration Department charges, consulate fees, etc.) subject to policy changes;
• Special circumstances of individual clients or cases, including but not limited to application origin, nationality, and nature of work;
• Exchange rate fluctuations affecting overseas-related costs;
• Fee revisions by third-party service providers (e.g., insurers, airlines, accommodation services);
• Periodic updates to our pricing in response to market conditions.

In the event of any discrepancy between the website and a signed written contract, the terms of the signed contract shall prevail. We reserve the right to update website information at any time without prior notice.

Scope of Services

The Company provides employment introduction services under the Employment Agency Licence (Licence No.: 80734) issued by the Labour Department, including:

• Overseas domestic helper and driver recruitment (full-package service);
• Local contract-completion domestic helper and driver referral services;
• Document handling services for self-arranged overseas or local helpers;
• Contract renewal and visa extension application services;
• Employment contract signing, government document processing, and related administrative support.

The specific scope and details of services are set out in the service contract signed by both parties.

Fees & Payment

Service fees are specified in the service contract. Unless otherwise stated in the contract, the general payment terms are as follows:

• Fees are payable after both parties have signed the service contract, in the instalments and manner specified in the contract;
• Fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the contract;
• If government fee adjustments cause actual costs to exceed the contracted amount, we will notify the Client and obtain confirmation before collecting any difference;
• All quoted prices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing true, accurate, and complete personal and household information to facilitate application processing;
• Supplying required documents and information in a timely manner;
• Complying with Hong Kong labour laws and Immigration Department regulations governing the employment of foreign domestic helpers;
• Employing and treating the helper or driver in accordance with the standard contract issued by the Labour Department;
• Notifying us promptly of any changes in circumstances, including change of address or household composition.

Disclaimer

We will endeavour to provide services in accordance with the terms of the service contract. However, we accept no liability for:

• Delays or rejections by government departments (including the Immigration Department, Labour Department, or relevant consulates) and any resulting losses;
• The personal conduct, work performance, or health condition of the helper or driver;
• Application delays or failures arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client;
• Events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, policy changes, or other force majeure events.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the service fees actually paid by the Client to us for the relevant service.

Privacy

We collect, use, and store personal data of clients and helpers in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Hong Kong). Data collected is used solely for processing the relevant service applications and will not be disclosed to third parties without authorisation, except where required for government application submissions.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or any service arrangement, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the dispute shall be referred to the courts of Hong Kong.

Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Revised terms will be published on this website and take effect from the date of publication. We recommend that clients check this page periodically for the latest version.
